The Workshop:

Designed as an introduction to burlesque, and run by the incredible international performing powerhouse that is Gina Stirling, this class provides a whole lot of fun, energetic movement, tips & tricks for slaying your own movement style, in a great community space with a fun, relaxed vibe.

Under Gina's guidance, explore bold and fierce movement, invigorating dance styles and equally powerful posture, presence and energy.

All thriller. No filler. Absolutely killer.

Come and discover your inner cabaret star, set amidst perfectly balanced rich red and deep purple burlesque lighting, complete with a velvet draped stage for photos and poses at the close of the session. Open to all ages and abilities, we hope this space will provide an exciting and empowering environment in which to explore energy and dynamic movement in a fun way. Let's set that dance-floor on fire!

Dress Code:

Comfortable clothing you can move in. Socks or jazz/character shoes. Knee pads are optional. Water and a towel.

Timings:

There will be an introduction, chance to have a beverage and chat, then the workshop will begin. There will be a half-time interval break, in the downstairs bar, and then the second half. Afterwards, photos etc can be taken on the stage under lights etc and then the downstairs main bar will be open til late for you to hang out and relish in the energy of the night!
